Speaker cabinets of all models are crafted from ‘Panzerholz’– high density pressed wood. This special material, produced under extreme pressure, combines the properties of natural wood layers with the precision and uniformity of a synthetic material in a unique way. By pressing the individual layers, properties of the wood are changed: according to the producer the fibres are rearranged on a molecular level, density is increased and homogeneity improved while retaining an ideal internal damping. The reward for all these efforts: live-like and natural timbre without bloated bass reproduction and resonances.
